Mid-cut, mid-color, hands full — and the phone is still ringing.
LinearZeta builds and runs a conversational AI receptionist for salons, barbershops, and spas. It books and reschedules appointments around the clock, answers the questions you hear all day, and captures new clients — without anyone stepping away from a chair.
Every ring is a choice between this client and the next one.
- ■ Calls land mid-service, and nobody should drop a client to grab the phone.
- ■ A new client who reaches voicemail books the next salon on their search results.
- ■ Most booking requests come in evenings and weekends — exactly when nobody answers.
- ■ Reschedules and “how much is a cut?” calls eat the front desk’s whole day.
What the agent handles.
One voice agent on your number, answering on the first ring — 24/7, in a natural voice.
Books and reschedules appointments
Offers real openings and books, moves, or cancels appointments in a natural conversation — 24/7, not just when someone’s free at the desk.
Answers the questions you hear all day
Hours, services, your price guide, parking — answered from your own service list only. It never invents a price or a service you don’t offer.
Recognizes returning clients
Regulars don’t start from zero every call. A client who rings to book again is offered their usual service — and on Square, the same stylist who did it last time. Any caller can be forgotten on request.
Captures new clients after hours
When a caller wants something the agent shouldn’t decide, it captures their name and number and emails you instantly — so the morning starts with callbacks, not missed calls.
Where it stops. On purpose.
Your reputation is on every call, so the agent keeps hard limits:
- ■ It quotes your published price guide, but never a firm price for consultation work like color correction — it books the consult instead.
- ■ It answers only from your own information — hours, services, and policies you’ve approved.
- ■ It opens every call by disclosing it’s an AI and that the call may be recorded.
- ■ An upset caller, a complaint, or anything sensitive goes straight to a person.
These limits come from our Map → Build → Govern → Measure method — mapped with you before launch, tested before every change goes live.
Booking that fits how you already work.
On Starter and Standard, the agent books directly into the Square Appointments calendar you already run — per stylist. Not on Square? On any plan it books straight into your own Google Calendar, or onto a Cal.com calendar we set up for you. Standard adds a monthly tuning and review call.
Every plan includes caller memory, instant callback alerts, live emergency routing, and no setup fee — month-to-month, starting at $179. See full pricing →
Common questions.
Can it book into Square Appointments?
Yes — on Starter and Standard the agent books directly into your existing Square Appointments calendar, per stylist. On Solo, it books straight into your own Google Calendar instead, or onto a Cal.com calendar we set up for you. Not on Square yet? Ask about our done-for-you switch — we move your services, staff, and client book for you.
Will it quote a price for color or corrective work?
It shares your published price guide, but it won’t commit to a firm price for work that needs a stylist’s eyes — like color correction. For those, it books a consultation instead. Your stylists set prices; the agent doesn’t.
Will clients know they’re talking to an AI?
Yes — every call opens by saying it’s an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded. The voice is natural and the conversation is ordinary, but transparency is built in and can’t be turned off.
